How do I rent a luxury car from Veloce?

What is the minimum age to rent a luxury car with Veloce?

The standard minimum age is 25 years with a valid driver's licence. Drivers aged 21–24 may rent select vehicles at higher rates and deposits. Certain high-performance and high-value cars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce) require a minimum age of 28 to 32 years.

Does Veloce offer chauffeur-driven services in Cape Town and Johannesburg?

Yes. Chauffeur services are available for airport transfers, business travel, wine tours, weddings, matric dances and other special events in both cities. Bookings can be made for 6, 8, 10 or 12-hour shifts, with each shift including 150 km. Petrol is billed separately.

What deposit do I need to pay when renting a luxury car?

Deposits range from R15,000 to R100,000 depending on the vehicle's value. The deposit is typically held as a pre-authorisation on a credit card, or paid in cash with additional verification. The deposit is released after inspection on return, usually within 5–10 business days.

Do international visitors need an international driver's licence to rent in South Africa?

No, an international driver's licence is not required. Your foreign licence is accepted by our insurance provided it is valid. We recommend bringing an English translation if your licence is not in English, as local traffic authorities may ask for one.
